Stiles Generator Foot Equipment MountThe Generator Foot™

The Generator Foot™ is a heavy duty anti-vibration mount originally designed by a large Caterpillar® generator set packager for isolating generator sets, compressors, and pump assemblies.

 

When given the proper load per mount, Stiles's Generator Foot™ can reduce vibration by 80% or more.  Priced approximately 1/2 to 1/3 of conventional spring mounts, most orders are shipped from stock.  These mounts are currently used under Caterpillar®, Cummins®, Detroit®, and other brands of Generator Sets.


Key to the Generator Foot™; is Stiles's one inch thick vibration damping Vib Pads™.  Fitted over each pad is a heavy gage metal adaptor plate with a welded on 1/2 inch (13mm) x 1/2 inch (13mm) high non-threaded stud.  Installation consists of lifting the Generator Set and locating the Generator Foot™ with the stud locking into standard bolting holes on the frame. 

The CA-02435 mounts have a .41 inch (10.4mm) bolting hole replacing the stud.
